Portfolio Merchandise Management (PMM) is offered by JDA Software Group to address the basic and core retail functions within the context of merchandise management or inventory.
This application suite is a Unix/Oracle solution and will run on IBM's pSeries (previously known as the RS/6000) hardware platform.
Description
Formerly known as Open Database Merchandising System (ODBMS), this application suite was originally developed as a re-engineering of JDA's popular MMS solution in the mid–1990s. It was designed to be the 'open' architecture version of the AS/400-based MMS suite. PMM runs on an Oracle database platform using PL/SQL for the back–end architecture and Uniface for its front–end graphical user interface.
Data warehouses are must–have technology for JDA PMM. Retail IDEAS is an out–of–the–box data warehouse that comes pre–configured and interfaced with JDA PMM
The application suite includes:
JDA PMM
